We condemn the presence of delegations from the Zionist and genocidal state of Israel on Venezuelan territory

The Venezuelan people are currently enduring one of the most painful moments in our recent history. The earthquakes of June 24, 2026, have left thousands dead, injured, and missing, and entire communities reduced to rubble. Amid this suffering, the arrival on our territory of delegations linked to the Zionist genocidal State of Israel has been announced, including personnel from the Home Front Command of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and organizations such as Magen, Ready for Rescue, and SmartAID, under the guise of “humanitarian aid.”

In light of this, we publicly state the following:

Israel’s objective is not to provide humanitarian aid but to whitewash its role in the genocide of the Palestinian people.

The very same military and political apparatus that is today deploying “rescuers” in Venezuela is responsible—as reported by international institutions and human rights organizations around the world—for the systematic destruction of civilian, health, and humanitarian infrastructure in Gaza, as well as for the deaths of thousands of children, relief workers, and medical, nursing, and care personnel. A state that attacks those who save lives in Palestine and carries out genocide against the Palestinian people cannot present itself as a savior in Venezuela.

We denounce the political exploitation of this tragedy.

Israel’s presence in our country—at a time when there have been no formal diplomatic relations between the two states since 2009—is not a selfless gesture, but rather a propaganda strategy aimed at whitewashing Israel’s international image by using the suffering of the Venezuelan people as a platform.

We demand transparency regarding the political conditions of this overture.

This presence cannot be separated from the broader context of rapprochement and negotiations between the national government and the Trump administration. The Venezuelan people have the right to know what agreements, conditions, or concessions have enabled a genocidal and racist state like Israel—with which we have no diplomatic relations—to gain direct access to our territory at a time of maximum national vulnerability.

Sovereignty is not negotiable, not even in the midst of a catastrophe.

The reconstruction of Venezuela must be carried out with dignity, grassroots organization, and genuine solidarity from sister nations—not through agreements that compromise our political independence in exchange for technical assistance.

We reaffirm our solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The very same internationalism that calls for solidarity with Venezuela in its hour of need compels us not to remain silent in the face of the genocide that Palestine is suffering at the hands of the State of Israel. There can be no double standards: one cannot reject foreign interference while at the same time opening the door to a state that practices occupation, apartheid, and extermination against another people.

In light of the foregoing, we demand:

The withdrawal of delegations linked to the State of Israel from national territory.

We demand that the University Council of the Central University of Venezuela issue a statement and demand the withdrawal of the Israeli delegation from the university campus.

Full transparency regarding any agreement, arrangement, or negotiation that has facilitated this presence, including its connection to the rapprochement between the national government and the Trump administration.

That the legitimate international aid Venezuela be channeled through organizations and governments that bear no responsibility for war crimes or the systematic violation of human rights.

The strengthening of grassroots and community organizations as the central pillar of national reconstruction, above any foreign interference.

Venezuela’s suffering is not for sale. Solidarity among peoples is built among those who fight against oppression, not with those who perpetrate it.

Zionist, genocidal, and racist State of Israel out of Venezuela!

With Palestine, always!
